Expanding Frontiers Represented at the International Space Settlement Design Competition

Expanding Frontiers (ExF) congratulates Jocell Rodriguez, who represented ExF and South Texas at the International Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC) in Florida, in the role of Design Competition "Company" Assistant CEO.

Expanding Frontiers concurrently recognizes and congratulates Franco Gonzalez Romo, from Preparatoria Panamericana of Universidad Panamericana de Mexico, who participated in the competition representing ExF and its collaborative work in Mexico.

This year, the ISSDC was held at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and the Walt Disney World Resort. The competition brought together hundreds of students from around the world, mixing them into large multinational teams that worked against the clock to design a space settlement and present it to a panel of judges.

ExF congratulates and thanks the Aerospace Education Competitions, and Barbara Kennedy, its Chief Executive Officer, for the visionary competitions they have created. A special thank you note goes to all of the volunteers who gave their time to make it happen.

Inspiring students to compete on a stage like this and to see themselves in the future of space is exactly what we work for. They are that future.
